Guests of all ages are invited out to our annual, Scarecrows on the Square!  Stop by any time October 22nd until November 5th, 2023 to check out the creativity on display around Hutchinson Square in the heart of Summerville.

Scarecrows are created by Businesses, Civic Groups, Individuals and Schools.  Remember to vote for your favorite Scarecrow! Votes are $0.25 each and will be collected at Guerin’s Pharmacy, Simple Treasures, Cuppa Manna Cafe, and Wine & Tapas Bar. Voting opens October 14th.

The Junior Service League of Summerville is proud to present the 2023 Ghostwalk!

The ghouls are back for 2023!  The Junior Service League of Summerville’s annual Ghostwalk event will take place on Saturday, October 28th from 6pm-9pm.

All are invited to dress up in their best costumes and meet in Town Square for an evening of fall family fun!  Ghostwalk features 2 guided tour options – G, PG, &  a Haunted House sponsored by The Winchester Spa and Salon, to ensure a spooky time for guests of all ages.

In addition to the walking tours, the event will feature entertainment, games, hayrides, and food trucks.

  • Advance tickets are $5 and $8 the day-of-the-event.  All tickets include access to all games, activities, and 1 guided Ghostwalk tour.  Hayride tickets are sold separately for $4 in advance and $5 the day-of-the-event.  If a Ghostwalk tour or Haunted House isn’t for you, we will have Games Only tickets available for $3.  The event is FREE for children 3 and under.

Grab your Christmas pajamas and join the Junior Service League of Summerville as we host Jolly Old Saint Nicholas for our 5th annual PJs With Santa!

The fun takes place in Hutchinson Square on December 9th, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Children will have the opportunity to whisper their wishes to Santa while parents capture the moment with their cameras.

Tickets include a visit with Santa, holiday crafts, festive fun and stories with Mrs. Claus. Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa and share their Christmas wishes as parents capture photos. Hot cocoa, baked goods and face painting will be available for purchase. (Cash encouraged!)

Tickets for children can be pre-purchased online or at the event for $7-a wristband will be provided. Tickets include meet and greet with Santa, storytime with Mrs. Claus and two crafts! Adults accompanying children DO NOT need a ticket.
